I had a realization today.

I observed as a perfectly capable, 28 year old American male, tossed in sixteen hours of his life in to the US Military industrial complex.  In return for, well, not much.  But I see it all the time really.  It really saddens me to know that someone of so much promise, of so much energy, of so much capability, is really sinking that kind of dedication and energy into something that is rewarding so little.

I realized he is giving so much, but getting nothing more than the guy that gives the bare minimum.

I say I had that realization today... when in reality, I had it back in 2005 actually.  In my stateroom on the USS Kitty Hawk.  Regardless, I've made a decision... I can spend my time, my energy, my talents, working for a government that rewards me equally with someone who doesn't share the same giftings, mindset and abilities, OR, I can spend that time, energy, talent and knowledge and personal power, increasing my personal bottom line.

The choice is mine.  I made it.  I owned that choice.  I started my company http://SecureBusinessFranchise.com

So what is it going to be?  Are you going to continue to get the same thing that the slacker in the cubicle next to you gets for minimal effort?  Or are you going to work to be rewarded handsomly for your effort, your skills you've worked so hard to hone, and your ability?

I don't know about you, but I'd rather get paid for my production.
